My name is Mark Ament. I’m from the U.S. and live in Austria with my wife and daughter. I teach courses and lead retreats in ultra healthy living. I really love what I do, but it’s not quite a passive income.
Since 2005, I’ve worked hard to get myself in the position of earning a (relatively) passive business income from the internet. I’ve tried a lot of things (listed below) and now it’s finally coming together, thanks in large part to The IM Advantage and Niche Blueprint.
- Online Multi Level Marketing – I stayed with it for a year and ended up with some great health supplements, but no real business. My biggest check was for $225 one month.
- Writing and Self Publishing – I wrote a book on Nutrition and self published. The niche (raw food vegans) was too small for the book to make much of a splash. I did sell about 1000 copies but only after some really hard work.
- Setting Up an E-Store – In 2006 I took my old website and started selling natural health and healing products on it. I did make a few sales (15-20) that year, but the site had virtually no SEO (it was really old).
- In 2007, a crafty email enticed me to pick up Derek Gehl’s “Insider’s Guide to Marketing Your Business on the Internet.’ I worked for two months to implement the strategies, but it was overwhelming. I still liked it and ended up dropping $9000 on his Advanced Mentoring Program. Out of that I created a site with several ebooks focused on home remedy cleansing that ranks well in Google and generates a steady income of $200 per month.
- MY BLOG- I got tired of writing sales copy and ebooks, so I converted my old site into a Blog. It’s focused on holistic health and has 3000 readers.
- E-Commerce Sites - Last year I began with another program from Steven Clayton and Tim Godfrey called Niche Blueprint and implemented the basic idea on two websites that sell just one product each. The Ultimate Cleanse and Raw Maca.
My initial business goal was to profit $150 per day from my online businesses – Average of $4500 per month.
When I joined IM Advantage in January 2010, I was averaging $13/day. Now, thanks to it and some hard work I’m already up to nearly $150/day.
The strategies that Steve and Tim share really work, they have great support and awesome tools. I’ll continue updating this page as I achieve my goals.
